Dakine Slayer Knee Pad Review
The good: these knee pads are great for the price. Dakine always seems to be a little late with the launch of new equipment, but it shows as they really think about their products. These knee pads are great. Breathe well Don't slip or slip at all and give me the protection I need in an epic all day. That said, this review is for the killer, not the devil. The Hellion is clearly more gravity oriented with larger pads and more strap protection and security. But the Slayers succeed. Compared to the POC VPD AIR, they have almost no protection or thickness, but are much more comfortable to pedal during a day adventure.
The bad: the upper and lower parts are lined inside with rubber grips to make sure the pads don't slip or move while driving. Fortunately, they do not move. The bad thing is, it's hard to take them off and if you don't shave your legs what you probably don't wear knee pads, it can cause a real battle with leg hair after your trip is over. General revision: Overall, the Dakine Slayer is a great pair of knee pads at a reasonable price of $ 65. I was very happy with these for my 3 day trip to Pisgah and Dupont and it will be my knee pads until something more shiny appears in front of my face. . https://uscsc.org/best-knee-pads-2019/ |
